How we price these guides
Every figure in a Treat Me Global cost guide is a price a clinic chose to publish on its own website. We do not estimate, average across the internet, or quote a price of our own. This page sets out exactly what we do, so you can judge the numbers for yourself.
Where the prices come from
For each guide we draw up a panel of dental clinics in the destination city: the clinics on our own research sheets plus the clinics that Google lists for implant and price searches in that city. We then read each clinic's public website, including its price list, treatment pages and any PDF price lists, at a polite pace that respects each site's rules for automated visitors. Where a page needs a browser to render, we open it in one. Clinics that publish no prices stay in the count of clinics checked, so the guide says plainly how many clinics in a city publish a figure and how many do not.
Each published price is recorded with the page it came from, the date we read it, the amount and currency exactly as written, what the clinic says is included, the implant brand if the line names one, and the clinic's own guarantee wording. A sample of those records is checked again against the live page by a second reader before anything is published.
What we leave out
A price is held back, and not shown, when the page does not make clear whether a full-arch figure is for one arch or both, when it is a promotional price with an end date, a deposit or instalment figure, a figure for a single component of a treatment that the clinic prices in parts, or a general "prices in this country" statement rather than the clinic's own list. Each guide's methodology box says how many lines were held back and why.
Conversion and rounding
Prices are converted to Australian dollars at the daily reference rate published by open.er-api.com on the date shown in each guide, and rounded to the nearest AU$50. The methodology box prints the rates to four decimal places. Ranges are ranges of starting prices: where a clinic publishes a range for one line, both ends appear in the table and the highest upper end is noted beside the headline range. Where a group has an even number of lines, its middle figure is the midpoint of the two central lines.
Why clinics are not named
The clinics we work with have asked not to be listed publicly on our site. We respect that, so each guide shows clinics as letters. The letters are assigned per guide and change between guides and between refreshes, so rows cannot be matched from one page to another. The full source list, with clinic names and the pages the figures came from, is kept on file and shared with you in your written quote.
Flights and time on the ground
Return economy fares from Sydney and Brisbane are pulled from Google Flights on the day stated in the guide, for a fixed pair of travel dates, one adult, at most one stop. We show the band of best-value options, not the single cheapest seat. Stay lengths and visit counts are shown only as clinics state them on their own sites, and only when enough of the priced clinics state one to give a fair figure.
What the price does not tell you
The sections on deposits, aftercare, who treats you and communication draw on public reviews of treatment-abroad booking services, read on a platform the companies cannot edit. They are reviews of the booking-service model, not of the clinics in our guides. We never republish a review, and we never publish a patient's clinical outcome.
How often we refresh
Each guide shows the month its prices were read and the date its figures were compiled. We re-read the price lists and re-pull fares when we refresh a guide, and we correct a figure as soon as a clinic or reader shows us it has changed. If a figure on a guide looks wrong, tell us on WhatsApp or by email and we will check the source page and fix it.
How we are paid
You pay Treat Me Global one flat coordination fee, quoted in writing before you commit. Clinics do not pay us, so our recommendations are independent of any clinic's pricing. The first consultation is free.
